The Dumagat and Remontados indigenous people who marched from Infanta in Quezon province is on the final leg of a 9-day protest march to oppose the Kaliwa Dam project whihc will culminate in Mendiola in Manila. The marchers held a program at the MWSS headquarters, one of the main proponents of the dam construction, before proceeding to mendiola to demand from President Marcos Jr. to put a stop to the project which will affect the culture, llivelihood, and survival of the people in the Sierra Madre mountains
