The National Biennial Convention of the Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas is held every two years.
It is guided by a theme that is set by the LAIKO Board of Directors.
Each LAIKO Member (National Organization, Archdiocesan / Diocesan Commission / Council of the Laity can send at least five delegates (including 3 with voting rights) representing their organization.
During the Convention, Election of the LAIKO National Board of Directors will take place.

“The role of the Laity in Society, Politics, Economics and the Environment”
2015: 19th National Biennial Convention – October 23 to 25 held at Cebu City, Cebu:
The Eucharist, the Family and the Parish in the Jubilee Year of Mercy
