Since the impasse in the peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) after the postponement of the formal talks in June, a significant increase of armed encounters between the AFP and the NPA has been recorded.

In this regard, the Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP), Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC), Anawim Mission, SIMBAHAYAN-UST and Save Our Schools Network, invite you to a day with the IP in “Understanding the Journey of the Indigenous Peoples: A Call for Just Peace”.

Together, like our prophets, let us continue to seek, work and call for Justice and Peace to reign in our land so that a brighter future not for own but for the next generations will finally come.

Thank you very much. For more details please do not hesitate to contact the following:. Sr. Lhen Casas 0932-700-7678; Dr. Carmen Alviar 0916-254-7568; Ms. Ofel Cantor PEPP #0927630-3392, and Rev. Dr. Aldrin Penamora #0928-2901940.

May our God Almighty continue to shine upon you in your consistent service to God and to those who needed GOD the most.

Your Brothers in Christ,
