Good day PMPI Clusters!
This September, we are encouraging you to join the Global Climate Youth Strike, millions of us will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels. The Philippines, together with our neighboring countries, environmental groups will hold a big mobilization on September 20, Friday in solidarity with the planned global mass action.
The PMPI Secretariat will join the said event, carrying our thematic concern CCAM-DRRM and Rights of Nature.
In this regard, we are encouraging you, your organization, and your network to either organize or join the Global Climate Youth Strike happening in your locality.
We need to express support to this growing movement of young environmental activists who will not take this climate crisis sitting down!
We also encourage you to have a video and/or photo of yourself, family members, and friends, especially the youth and ask them to join the Global Climate Strike and why it is important to act now.
PMPI Secretariat can help you produce digital materials, just email your raw video and/or photo to secretariat@pmpi.org.ph. Please come up with your own calls/messages for the strike.
Deadline of submission of raw video/photo is on September 11.
