October 2019, the extra ordinary month of the missions, as desired by the Holy Father is just three weeks away. I am sure that a lot of discussion and planning have gone in by now. Action and results remain!
Basing on the teachings, instruction etc., that we have received, here are a few reflections and possible action plan for each day of the month. These are not meant to overrule or clash with the plans you have made but just a little practical
help to make us aware that the primary duty of the church is to evangelize. I do hope and request you all to pray earnestly and make a sincere effort to make this month, days of deep reflection on the mission of the church, responsible Christian families, involving Christian communities, and a church that becomes an experience of Jesus to the baptized as well as the non baptized.
I sincerely thank Frs. Joseph Talangani and Subash Michael who have worked very hard to make this possible and available.

Dear beloved Mother, the Queen of Mission, we dedicate this entire month to your Immaculate heart where you treasured the Divine Word. Mother of God, Queen of the Apostles, hear our prayers and call down the gifts of the Holy Spirit upon the heralds of the Gospel. At the dawn of Pentecost, prompted by the Holy Spirit you watched over with your prayer the beginning of evangelization. Inspire us, O Mother, to promote and accomplish with full of hope in docility to the Lord’s command especially in these times of difficulties.
Help us, O Virgin Mother, to say our own “yes,” conscious of the urgent need to make the Good News of Jesus resound in our time. Intercede for us that we may acquire the holy audacity to discover new ways to bring the gift of salvation to our brothers and sisters. Be with us as we entrust ourselves to you to bear witnesses to your Son’s boundless love to the world. Amen!
